ABOUT RAINBOW HOOPS
Rainbow Hoops is an adult, volunteer-run, non-profit recreational basketball league in Toronto. We provide a safe and inclusive space for queer women (cis and trans), non-binary people, and queer-positive female allies to enjoy officiated recreational basketball.
Founded in 1996 by a group of women, Rainbow Hoops has been building community through sport for nearly three decades.
We are proud members of the Ontario Basketball Association (OBA), which provides our league with insurance coverage and certified referees.
